CKFR would like to take this time to remind all CK residents about the importance of having working smoke and carbon monoxide alarms in their homes. Working alarms provide a warning for you and your family to safely get out of your home should an emergency occur.

Check the expiration date of your alarms. Both battery and hardwire alarms expire and need to be replaced, usually every 10 years or according to manufacturers' instructions.

If you would like assistance with your alarms, request a CHiRP Home Alarm Check by visiting ckfire.ca or calling 519-360-1998.
